Description

Faraday's new integral bell/chime design combines the bell mechanism with the gong/chime to make one unit. They are designed and built with special materials to provide loud resonant tones desireable in any signaling application. Four gong sizes and a chime kit are available to provide distinctive tones and to overcome different ambient noise levels.

Fara-mod Integral Single Stroke bells and chimes are designed to provide a complete choice of mountings and operating voltages at a minimum cost. They are available in standard voltages from 6 to 240 volts AC or DC. All units are designed for installation on a standard 4-inch square box. Adapters allow surface, semi-flush, flush, and weatherproof mounting.

Fara-mod integral bells and chimes are easy to install and are available in a standard grey color.

For Economy and Efficiency Use Standard Voltages

While Faraday Signals are available in, and will operate at any desired voltage, there are several important advantages to using standard voltages wherever and whenever possible...

  • Standard Voltages are in stock, available for immediate shipment. Special Windings are made to order.
  • Standard Voltages are invariably less expensive. Additional cost is incurred when Special Windings are ordered.
  • Standard Voltages are universally available and signals so designed can usually be operated without transformers.

A WORD ABOUT VOLTAGES

In accordance with Underwriters' Laboratories requirements, the voltage range of Faraday signals is 80% to 110% of the rated name plate voltage. Thus, a 120-volt signal will operate at either 96 volts or 132 volts without damage, but the voltage at which it performs best is 120 volts.
