Model MSG and MSGX

Designed for high security applications, Alvarado’s MSG and MSGX maximum security gates provide full height security, quality construction and superior styling. Suitable for indoor or outdoor applications, these gates provide full height security, and you can acquire either a manual (MSG) or electric lock-controlled model (MSGX) that work easily with any identification or control system.

Constructed from heavy gauge and high-grade steel, MSG/MSGX gates feature fully-welded construction, and hydraulic self-closure that prevents the gate from slamming. Other features include:

• Fully-welded exterior components - no exposed bolts or fasteners
• Quiet operation
• All materials meet ASTM standards
• 24VDC electric or manual operation in one or both directions
• Standard transformer and rectifier to convert 110 VAC power is included. Transformer and rectifier for use with 220 VAC is available
• Friction bracking system eliminates backslap
• Perfect for indoor and outdoor applications
• Hot-dipped galvanized, color powder coat, and stainless steel finishes
• Compatible with virtually all access control or identification systems

Model EDC Series

Alvarado's EDC turnstiles satisfy a wide range of security and counting applications. They are easy-to-install and integrate with any access control system, and are available with manual operation. Their superior styling includes the lack of external bolts or fasteners in the fabrication or anchoring process, and a unique bullet-style head and arms for comfortable 90-degree passage width for user comfort.

These turnstiles offer a hydraulically-dampened arm rotation with automatic arm self-centering, plus investment-grade stainless steel internal castings and hardened stainless steel locking components. Standard on electrically-controlled models are industrial grade controller, optical rotation detection, interface relays, and time out functionality.
